Ultrasuede® fabric has been specifically engineered for upholstery and wall coverings. It is completely washable, durable, and stain resistant. Ultrasuede® was designed to be much tougher than the Ultrasuede® that is being used for apparel and is approximately twice the weight. In technical terms Ultrasuede® is a non-woven fabric made of extremely fine polyester fibers. These fibers are intermingled in such a way that the fabric passes 200,000 double rubs on the Wyzenbeek abrasion tester. This is more than 6 times the industry standard for heavy-duty abrasion. Red wine, grease, hot coffee, soft drinks, etc. can be wiped up with soap and water. Lipstick and even ballpoint pen can be easily removed with a little rubbing alcohol. Ultrasuede® is breathable, cool, comfortable and will not disappoint by waterspotting, cracking, piling, snagging, shrinking, wrinkling, fraying, stiffening, or sagging.
